
Darrell Corkal, P.Eng. provides professional services assisting clients in managing water resources and climate change adaptation: h2adapt inc. promotes healthy, sustainable communities and sectors by advancing our understanding of water, water quality, risks and vulnerabilities to climate extremes (floods, storms, drought), and adaptation possibilities. Darrell has over 30 years of experience working on water resources (water supply, quality, treatment), resilient infrastructure (grey and green), climate change adaptation, water governance, training and knowledge outreach, stakeholder facilitation, sector engagement (e.g. agriculture), and work with Indigenous Nations. Darrell has over 10 years of international experience on academic-government collaborations investigating institutional adaptation to climate change and adaptation to climate extremes (Canada, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia). He has recently completed a major multi-stakeholder engagement project on assessing risks, vulnerabilities, mitigation and adaptation to floods, fires, and drought in Saskatchewan Canada, and is currently working on an international water adaptation project in Argentina, Canada, Chile and Uruguay.
