Erin Hillis

Erin is a Master of Public Policy student at the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of Regina, where she is studying the influence of policy entrepreneurs on a federal program that provides financial support for agricultural producers in Saskatchewan to mitigate their greenhouse gas emissions. Erin has a B.Sc. Honours in Biology from the University of Regina and a M.Sc. in Environmental Science from the University of Windsor, where she studied the effects of multiple stressors on algal growth in Lake Erie. She sampled water bodies in Saskatchewan for several years while working at the University of Regina, University of Saskatchewan, and the Water Security Agency. She is excited to be working on this project and focusing on adaptations related to hydroclimatic and water security risks affecting our ecosystems in Southern Saskatchewan.
